For this graphic for the registrar's office I wanted to do more of a spring theme since it is about paying fees for the spring semester. Photoshop tools I used were the free transform tool, blending tools, text tool, rectangle tool, and a hue/saturation adjustment layer. 

 

After finding this tulip picture on Raw Pixel, I was able to add text and the Utah State Logo using the linear burn blending mode. I wanted align everything to the center because the background was just the flowers - I used two different texts to create contrast and also make the date stand out more since it's the most important part. The white rectangle behind the date was also for contrast to make it bold and obvious to viewers.
