I was able to re-do a flyer for the multimedia minor in the ITLS department. I wanted to keep this one simple, creative and informative. The main tools I used to create this graphic were the rectangle tool, free transform tool and text tool.

 

Using a stock photo, I sized it for the correct flyer size and then was able to create different rectangles to stack on top of one another with different fill colors to create contrast. With this graphic I only used one font to make repetition - I capitalized the main headline so it was easy to read. The white space on the photo proved to be useful for my main body of text and then using the hard light blending mode I incorporated the ITLS logo which further created contrast with the blue color and darker see-through background in the logo.
