In this project for USU Stars Gear Up, I wanted to focus on the social aspect of college. For many high school students, going to a new college and making friends might be the scariest aspect. Having comfort that you won't be the only who is scared, new, or also drowning in homework can make you feel better and encouraged.

Using a free stock photo from Raw Pixel and with the camera raw filter in Photoshop, I enhanced the brightness, color, and brought up the shadows of the photo to make it seem more lively. I placed the logo in the bottom right corner so people would be aware of the program. Next, for the type, I used two different fonts and two different colors that matched the logo - this created contrast, yet simplicity at the same time. I used a right alignment as the eye naturally moves that direction. Mainly, the message stands out with the white background and when considering proximity, I didn't want the type to be too close to the students' heads.
